Rangoli Flavors of India is my favorite Indian restaurant! My boyfriend and I live 25 minutes away from Pacific Commons but would make the trip anytime we're craving Indian food. The menu is super self explanatory. We always opt for 2 entrees, Butter Chicken & Chicken Tikka Masala. We always add tandoori chicken too, but unfortunately they were out this last time we were there. Instead, the server offered Haryali Chicken Tikka which we took his suggestion. It was sooo good and I'm so happy we tried something new this time. I would probably -1 star, because the entree unfortunately does not include rice or naan. The restaurant is pretty large and service was incredibly quick. We love the large and beautiful dinner plates they have. This is the ultimate go-to place for us!

I was here for my friend's birthday celebration early dinner. It was not busy so we easily got our seats. The manager shared the menu with us along with water. We ordered drinks and the manager said there were no alcoholic drinks. So we ordered mango marina and strawberry mojito drinks. They tasted good, I think I liked the mango better than strawberry as the strawberry looked more like watermelon juice. We ordered paneer pakora for appetizers and then our main dish we ordered asy paneer akbari, papad, tadka dal and butter naan. The food was delicious and the service was great. When we checked the dessert menu, the manager said only gulab jamun is there so we decided not to pursue that. I guess weekends are the time one should visit to get full service from their menu. The ambience was so so.

Good food, good service and good ambiance! I have only found their hours to be a little too strict and they close before posted hours which is sad. Otherwise a really good restaurant.

a solid indian restaurant in pac commons. came here on a saturday afternoon for lunch, and the place was packed! staff are very nice, but because they were practically at 100% capacity, it did take a while (maybe 45 minutes) to receive our food. i would say this place is slightly better than average indian food i've had. - garlic naan: 4/5 pretty good! solid amount of garlic, which i love, and a good balance between crunch and crisp. nothing too breathtaking - saffron rice: 5/5 i think i just love rice too. this was cooked perfectly and melted so well with our other dishes - chicken tikka masala: 4.5/5 the sauce was my personal favorite. but, there's only about 2-3 pieces of chicken in here - saag paneer: 3.5/5 this was decent! did taste on the healthier side (good or bad? up to you to decide). decent amount of paneer in this dish total for our meal (we ordered 2 servings of rice) was about $60. we both were a bit thirsty after our meal too (we did drench our rice with sauce though).

I love Indian food and this is my go-to place because it's close to my house. I heard there used to be lunch buffet here before covid, but I've never tried. The restaurant is spacious and clean. You order the food in front first and our waiter was very attentive.   For appetizers, we had the Classic Bhala Papdi Chat which is lentil dumplings served with tomatoes, mint sauce and yogurt. It was a definitely a new and interesting taste to me. We got butter chicken and garlic naan and lamb dum biryani. Everything was so delicious! We also tried the lamb curry last time and that was really good, too!

3.5 stars rounded to 4. Just the standard (and very average) Indian food! We went on a weekday and ordered two vegetarian Thalis. The food was not bad, but not any different either. It was very similar to the food we've had in a dozen other restaurants around Fremont. That being said, the ambience here is nice, spacious and clean. The host seems like a warm person and our food came out pretty quickly.

I love the food here!! it's pretty pricy, but one of the better spots in the area. i ordered butter chicken and asked for it to be extra spicy, but it really wasn't all that spicy ): i'm not sure if they thought i couldn't handle it or what lol but it wasn't spicy enough. the garlic naan is good as well. only complaint i have is the price. it's a little expensive, but i'd definitely return.

Rangoli is a little on the higher end Indian restaurant located in Pacific Commons. Even though the ambiance is nice, the price to portion ratio was a little high as compared to other indian restaurants in the area. We went on a weekday night and there wasn't that many people there. Overall, food was pretty decent, and service was okay as well. If you're in the area and want indian food this is the place! Parking is also easy cuz pacific commons lots are huge.
